题目: since science and technology are becoming more and more essential to modern society,schools should devote more time to teaching science and technology and less to teaching the art and humanities. Discuss….

The author’ asserting brings in the controveisial and complex question that is being discussed a lot now:whether school should devote more time to teaching science and technologhy and less time to teaching the art and humanities because that science and technology are more and more important  to our society.the author gives a confirming answer.to some extent I agree with the author ,however,I hold the view that school should not only lay importance on science and technology ,but also should value the importance of art and humanities.

Admittedly,science and technology,the essential part in our morden life ,can improve our productivity efficiency and promote the increasion of economy,and people can enjoy much more convienient life with them.besides,our life and development of society are necessarily based on the science and technology.for example it is hard for us to imagine that when a computer programmer come into a corporation and get ready to work,but he find that he doesn’t know how to operate the computer because of the lacking of technology.so the science and technology we learnt at school can help us to overcome the embarrassing circumstances.

However,even though science and technology play an important role in our life and work, we can’t say that if we learn the art and humanities ,we are doing an meaningless work .it is the art and humanities that build our positive personalities and rend us to value the virtue,because, at times we may get negative mood which may leed us to anti-social behaviours,humanities can teach us to see the positive aspects of the same thing.for example ,without the virtue in mind ,a plant may emit the pollutions just for the geatest profits ,neglecting the residents’health,It is sure that the science and technology can promote the economic’development,but this kind of development is based on the cost of human’life.

In conclusion, it is true that the issue of the necessarity of teaching art and humanities is a complex one ,which requires subjective judgement,andso difrerent are the personal experiences and emotional concerns among people with diverse culture that thousand individules might hold thousand opinions,according to me the reponsibilities of a school is not just to teach the science and technology,what’more,but to teach the art and humanities.

Overall, you made a pretty valid argument. but a lot of wordings are problemaic..and you can see plenty of grammatical errors. Also, you need more words. Try to bring it up to 500 words and thats gonna be a significant difference.
