[求助]请教一道逻辑题

(B) World consumption of pepper has been unusually high for three years.

(C) World production of pepper will return to previous levels once normal weather returns.

(D) Surplus stocks of pepper have been reduced in the past three years.

答案为D  请问B为何不行呢？

看样子这道题目应该是assumption题吧，或者是原文推选项题。

看逻辑链：坏天气，不种了==》生产少于销售===》辣椒会供不应求===》辣椒价格上升====》现在辣椒的价格和可可一样。

A：没提到过，

B：推不出来消费非同寻常的高的，而且，只有生产多少才能消费多少，生产少了，不可能消费高的。

C：有两个条件导致生产减少的，但是天气不能得出这个结论，

D：三年前盈余的库存消耗完了，所以后面生产少了，就供不应求了，价格就涨了，

E：文中根本没有提到过利润的话题。
