I need to make a decision between Ross' 2-year full-time MBA and Cornell Johnson's 1-year accelerated MBA program, no scholarships from either school. I want to do marketing and entrepreneurship after MBA. I am an older applicant with a PhD degree (from US), so shorter term seems to make more sense. However, Ross appears to be stronger in every aspect than Johnson. That said, Ivy league's reputation cannot be ignored.

Of cause Cornell Johnson AMBA! It may be the most underrated MBA program, but best fit your background. As another old applicant with similar background as yours, I feel your pain. I had opportunity to meet many AMBA students in the past several years, and know several AMBA admits this year, I am really impressed by the caliber of those students. Moreover, the career development officers at Cornell are just great! They work extremely hard to bring companies to school, and work very closely with students for job opportunity. They treat you like a person, not a product. :-). Do you want to go back China sometime in the future? I believe Cornell has much better brand recognition in China than U of Michigan. From that regards, you also should choose Johnson over Ross.
