(D) An increase in the number of bird species in and around a city is desirable.（A）

(E) The increased sightings of bird species in and around London reflect an actual increase in the number of species in the area.

为什么不是D啊A是什么意思怎么就排出了呢，不明白A和D

这道题我也倾向于选D，A的意思是空气污染全部由本地工业造成，虽然也不是很合逻辑，但是可以理解为如果还有别的空气污染的原因，那么污染仍然可能存在，鸟的数量就不应该增加。
而D项的dramatically可以理解为戏剧性地，那么很明显，鸟的数量增长不是预期目的。
