怎么理解？是A=2B还是B=2A?

The table above shows the average(arithmetic mean) price per dozen of the large grade A eggs sold in a certain store during three sucessive months. If 2/3 as many dozen were sold in April as in May, and twice as many were sold in June as in April, what was the average price per dozen of the eggs sold over the three month period?

其实这道题解起来很容易，但是关于highlight部分的关系的理解总搞不清楚，关系搞错了题就做错了。

April=2/3May,June=2April

这种表达方式看起来是挺晕的....大概是可以写成这样的吧?

if 2/3 as many dozen as in May were sold in April, and twice as many as in April were sold in June. 这样就都能看懂了吧?

怎么我的理解刚好相反

If 2/3 as many dozen were sold in April as in May, and twice as many were sold in June as in April

是否可以看作 what sold in April were 2/3 as many as what sold in May.

the farm has more than twice as many cows as it has pigs.

意思是不是 cows 〉2pigs ??
