Does not understand the question. So this question is asking for a explaination about why the result happened? or based on the answer (true or false), it would support/weaken the conclusion?

From the option and the key D, it seems to ask an explaination. But the question is really strange since it indeed looks like an evaluation question. Someone can explain the question a little bit?
