1.DS    What is the remainder when the positive integer n is devided by the positive integer k, where k>1
            (1) n=(k+1)^3
            (2) k=5

2 DS    If 500 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to x and 400 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to y, which multiple of    100 is closest to x+y?
            (1) x<500
            (2) y>400
3 PS    Connie paid a sales tax of 8% on her purchase. If the tax had been only 5%, she would have paid $12 less in sales tax on her purchase. What is the total amount of purchase and tax?
           A. $368
           B. $380
           C. $400
           D. $420
           E. $432
