People’s opinions always diverge in terms of whether young adults should live independently or stay with their parents. From where I stand, the latter is a more preferable choice. Like it or not, it has a lot of merits that you cannot deny.

In the first place, it is relatively convenient and more economical. It is an undeniable fact that as soon as young adults enter into society, they are not well-paid. The insufficiency of money leads to a lack of basic equipments. While staying with the family, everything is different. Delicious meals are prepared, clothes are washed, not to mention the careful cleaning of the bedroom.. Moreover, with parents around, the great mass of daily chores are eliminated, which relieves a big burden from young adults.

Besides, it is time consuming if you decides to live alone. You might never find it handy and enjoyable while in the family. Actually, when living alone, you have to worry about the list of things from the places to live, the equipment in the house to water and electricity bills. Take I myself as an instance, I once had an urge to be independent, it took me 2 months to find a moderate apartment and nearly a whole year to get the apartment equipped, which greatly affected my study.

Finally, living with parents is beneficial in that it relives one’s stress. It is quite often for young adults to get frustrated in academic work. By communicating with parents, young adults will rejuvenate themselves and stand up for one challenge after another. Without parents around, some adults might spend a long time to brace up.

To conclude, living with parents is advantageous because it saves money, time and it is able to relieve one’s stress. So long as young adults live with their parents, it can be most beneficial to them in many aspects.
