[求助] Prep 数学的陷阱题目。。。

有一些比较迷惑的题目想请教一下大家：

1. 3/4 is 1/4 more than X.   是否就是 X= 3/4 - 1/4 = 1/2

2. The farm has more than twice as many cows as it has pigs.  到底哪个是那个的两倍多呢？？

3. A recent city with a population of 132,000 is to be divided into 11 voting districts, and no districts is to have a population that is more than 10% greater than the population of any other district. What is the minimun possibly population that the least populated district could have?  

A. 10,700   B 10,800  C 10,900  D 11,000  E 11,100  此类题目有没有具体的公式可以用呢？？

4. 1/x, 2x, x² 

问大小有可能的是 1.  X^2 <2X <1/X      2. X^2<1/x <2x    3. 2x<x^2<1/X  答案是1和2， 请问有什么方法可以快速解题吗？我用了很多时间举例算的。

盼望大牛们的解答啊``

昨天做了 prep也才49的数学··

看了你的题目发现我原来是有道题做错了···

1 应该是1/2 你是对的

2 pig是多数···（这个不确定 不过应该是）

3 我就是这个做错了···刚刚发现正确做法

132000 平均值就是 12000  设最小的X 则最大的是 110%X    X<12000 110%X>12000

得到 X> 10909 所以X选择 11000

4 1/X 2X X^2 由于答案中 已经明显表示出 1/x > x^2  所以可以得到  0<X<1  比较其实就是 关注1/X与2X的情况  直接比较相等情况 得到 X=1/根号2 这个值 在（0，1）之间  所以可以得到1 2 两种情况······ 

不知道懂了没有？

我觉得也是牛是猪的两倍多。 The farm has twice as many cows as it has pigs.意思是农场牛是猪的两倍  加上了“more than”意思不会颠倒

用英语表达“A是B的N 倍长（宽，高，大，重等）”，“A 比B长（宽，高，大，重等）N 倍” 或“A 的长度（宽度，高度，大小，重量等）是B的N倍”，可用下列几种句型。
　　1.“A + be + 倍数 + as + 计量形容词原级 + as + B”
　　This tree is three times as tall as that one. 这棵树是那棵树的三倍高。
　　His father is twice as old as he. 他父亲的年纪有他两倍大。
　　2.“A + be + 倍数 + 计量形容词比较级 + than + B ”
　　The Yangtze River is almost twice longer than the Pearl River.
　　长江差不多比珠江长两倍。
　　The dictionary is exactly five times more expensive than that one.
　　这本字典比那本恰好贵5倍。
　　3.“A + be + 倍数 + the + 计量名词 + of + B ”
　　The newly broadened square id four times the size of the previous one.
　　新扩建的广场是未扩建时的四倍大。
　　4.“The + 计量名词 + of + A + be + 倍数 + that + of + B ”
　　The size of the newly broadened square is four times that of the previous one.
　　新扩建的广场为以前的四倍大。
　　5.其它
　　I'm twice/ double his age. 我的年龄是他的两倍。
　　I've paid five times the usual price for the stamp.
　　我出了5倍于往常的价格买这枚邮票。
　　The average income of the staff has been increased by 50 percent compared with last year. 与去年相比，该单位职工的收入增加了50%。
　　The price of TVs are twofold（adj. 两部分的，双重的）down over these years.
　　近几年来，电视机的价格下降了两倍。

根据PREP的答案，应该是 牛是猪的两倍多， 不过我总觉得很奇怪，因为此句如果还原一下就是： The farm has pigs more than twice as many as cows.

一般我们会说 The earth has a size five times as big as the moon. 里面AS BIG AS 后面的名词MOON是小数，所以上面AS MANY AS 后面的名词COWS 不应该也是少数吗？  哎，头疼。。。

1. 3/4=x+1/4

2. cow/pig=2  ...  twice as many A as B: A/B=2...记住 前面元素比后面元素=那个数字 

其他题好像 evilast已经回答了~

不过第四题照他说选x=1/根号下2 ， 那么1/x=2x 阿。。。这个怎么解释呢？？
