一道语法JJ 请教

Government distributed electronic books and computers into high schools______________the textbooks.

    A. for use to replace

    B. for use in place of

    C. to use them to replace

    D. to use them in place of

    E. to use them in a replacement of

这题是不是选C阿，因为D中in replace of不简洁，请各位指点 谢了

我也选的C

C, D, E的them歧义

A明显不对，for use的use是名词，要改成to use ebooks & computers to replace才对

这样就排除剩B了。。。

想选D的，可是觉得那个them有点不对劲

C好像有问题啊，to use them to replace，replace不是目的啊，用in place of 修饰似乎更妥

可是B的for use，也不是很赏心悦目，但是似乎是唯一没有严重毛病的。

句意为上 for use才能表示这些e-books和computers是为了(for)做什么的(use in place of the textbooks)  use在此当noun 

to use them很awkward 一开始就删掉C/D/E
