Yale MBA VS. CEIBS

Yale's MBA vs. CEIBS which has more market value?

CEIBS recently gain a lot of international recognition, also the location in Shanghai provides enoumous opportunities for its students to get more chances of getting into world renowned companies. While Yale is located in a small town in US, but it has a strong reputation backed by Yale University.

So if you face this option, which MBA program will you choose (not taking consideration of costs) ?

不可否认,两所都是一流的好学校。但是却不一定具有可比性;

Yale.

I dont think it's a difficult choice.

If you are talking about Tuck or Ross, maybe they are not heard by some Chinese local people, and in this situation, CEIBS has some advantage in China/Shanghai. Certainly, T and R are much much better choices anyway.

Now, since it's Yale here, everyone in this world will know you are from one of the best ivy~~~

Both are good. If to choose Yale, your networking will be more US based but less China focussed. If one does need that 2 year international exposure and wants to pursue a career in the States, then Yale will be a good choice. The issue is, with such dramastic economic growth in China resulting in huge demand of high profile talents, even more and more Americans are coming to China and Asia.

I think there is no uniform answer to the question. It really depends on the individual. I agree that the location should be closer to where your future career relies. And BTW, congratulations for getting the offers.

If you can not find any special reason for choosing CEIBS for yourself

Yale is the obvious choice.

按照以下衡量:

1、如果铁心国内发展--C;如果打算国外--Y;如果打算国外工作一段时间再回国,看看专业就业情况--Y〉C

2、资金标准:有钱--Y;无钱--C;

3、是否换行:换行--Y;不换--C;有钱想穿插游学的--Y

4、如果有另一半,把她的也考虑在内

仅供参考

if compare with Ross (admission only) Vs. CEIBS (with certain scholarship), which one is better?

Long term career goal is still going back China working...

the reasonable solution is:

Choose CEIBS as with Scholarship, the cost is lower

then, apply the international exchange programme, increase the Global Exposure (same effects)

Of course, it is just for reference
