[面试经验] W&M的offer和面经+在读中国学生的就业信息

上个星期电话面试，今天收到offer，奖学金的情况好像是3月公布，明天写信去问一下。

W&M是一所历史悠久的老牌学校，本科教育尚可，MBA没什么名气。我在MBA tour上跟他们admission的人聊过几句，他们给了我application fee waiver。电话面试我的是他们的admission director Kathy, 以下是电话面试的大致内容:

K: Happy Chinese New Year! It's the 2nd day of your vacation, right?

M: Yes, it seems you are familiar with Chinese culture.

K: Not much, But I do like Chinese culture. So tell me something about the spring festival? What do you do for celebration?

M:.......

K: I know that the weather in China is quite bad recently. How is the weather now in China? Does that affect you a lot?

M:......

K: I read your application package very carefully . Your background is quite interesting. Can you share with me the difference between A & B (我先后工作过的两个公司是不同行业）

M: ......

K: The quanlity issue of Chinese products is a big concern recently (我估计是“毒饺后遗症”），will the quanlity control impact your 5-year plan.(我前面有提到公司的五年计划）

M: .....

K: I know your long-term career goal is ...what will you do to acheive that?

M:.....

K: One of your recommendation mentiond that you .... in your spare time. Tell me somethings about that.

M:.....

K: I know you also apply other schools, if all of them give you the offer, which one do you prefer?

M: ....

K: Any questions?

最后她在回答我问的问题时，主动谈到了美国的次级债问题和可能会有的经济低谷期，也很坦率的说她承认这可能给国际学生带来更大的就业压力。不过她相信即使出现低谷期，也应该能在2到3年有所转机，所以08入学的MBA学生也不用过于担心，而且学校的就业中心会帮助学生……说实话，最后谈到的这个问题让我挂了电话之后又想了很久。

这是我第一次MBA面试，也是头一次电话面试，还有些不习惯。整个面试大概35分钟，Kathy人很nice，而且看得出的确认真看过申请人的资料，对中国的状况还是有一些了解的。这个学校的admission office的人都特别好，只是排名差了些。

前几天Kathy介绍了一个现在W&M就读的中国学生给我认识，我写邮件问了她中国学生在那边的就业情况，下面是她的回复，给大家share一下：
