GWD3-18 版主能不能给个定论

The growing popularity of computer-based activities was widely expected to result in a decline in television viewing, since it had been assumed that people lack sufficient free time to maintain current television-viewing levels while spending increasing amounts of free time on the computer.  That assumption, however, is evidently false:  in a recent mail survey concerning media use, a very large majority of respondents who report increasing time spent per week using computers report no charge in time spent watching television.

A Whether a large majority of the survey respondents reported watching television regularly

看了原来的两个讨论帖，A和E都没有定论，我选的是A，不过看了讨论觉得E也有道理，请权威人士给个定论好吗？

如果E正确的话，被调查的人里鱼目混珠，就是这里有人不是用的free time而占的是工作时间，对吗？

那我选A想的就是被调查人中都不看电视,也就是not regularly，既然你不看电视，那么谈不到增加或减少这样想错在哪？是regularly的问题吗？

我觉得这是很有代表性的一个题目，希望不光是版主，大家也踊跃讨论下，旧帖中regularly的问题好像并没有解决

computer-based activities导致了看电视下降，这个被某些人下了一个前提，即没有足够free time看电视而同时花大量的free time用在电脑上。题目的结论说，这个前提是错的。原因是：一个调查说，大多数被调查的那些说电脑使用时间增加的人，说：他们看电视的时间没有变化。换句话说：free time是否被看电视或者电脑活动所占用？

如果真如E所说：那些人使用电脑的时间增加是因为工作原因的话，那么是反对题目的前提，即支持结论。即那个说人们花大量得free time来用在电脑上是错误的
如果E说得不对，即这些人使用得电脑得时间并非用在工作上，而是free time得话，那就是直接支持题目中的前提

A大多数调查得反馈者说他们经常看电视，这并不能解释free time 是否被占用，从而来evaluatio题目的结论。

题目反驳的是：人们花大量的free time去电脑上，而同时看电视的free time 时间下降 是 电脑活动导致了看电视活动的减少。

我试着解答一下楼上同志的困惑，不行还得高人来，题目首先给了一个前提说是人们不能在FREE TIME里增加用电脑时间的同时保持看电视的时间，但是紧接着作者说这个前提错了，有个调查，被调查的人说他们增加了用电脑的时间的同时没减少看电视的时间，我们要evaluate的就是这个assumption，free time中看电视的时间有没有被用电脑占用，所以A中被调查者regularly与关于free time的前提并没有必然联系，所以A要被排除，现在你看E是不是更好呢？
