recommendation letter

我目前正在法国交流，因为想回国后明年申请去国外念商科。因为想请法国这边的老师帮我写推荐信。

可是发现CD上的提到推荐信的部分，说是推荐信是要根据不同学校的要求写不同的？

所以很迷惑，不知道是否可以写一封相同的推荐信，寄给不同的学校阿？

因为现在还没有开始申请学校，所以不知道按什么要求请老师写写推荐信？

需要写些什么内容阿？（而且一般好象都要求推荐信生动感人，不知道这个怎么把握尺度阿？）

You can ask your recommender to write a generic recommendation letter, and most of the schools actually understand that their candidates will apply for multiple schools and it's really impossible for the recommender to write a specific one for each and every school.      You can check the questions asked by the schools you are applying and synthesis a question list your recommender needs to address, in order to write a generic one.

While, it's always good to tailor a recommendation letter to specific school because this is also a good way to show your commitment to them.  

So it's really depends on to which extent you can ask favor of your recommender to write you a tailor-made letter each time, as well as whether you really care about the school.

BTW, I used generic one.  :-)
