(B) Air-pollution regulations on industry have a significant impact on the quality of the air.(significant impact对应increased dramatically）

(C) The air-pollution problems of other major cities are basically similar to those once suffered by London.（air-pollution regulations要发挥作用，运用的前提条件要相同：譬如地理位置，盛行风之类的）

(D) An increase in the number of bird species in and around a city is desirable.
（增长是可预期的。就是别把死马当活马医）

(E) The increased sightings of bird species in and around London reflect an actual increase in the number of species in the area
（部分的增长的确能够代替整体的增长。不要看见的多啦，没看见的都死光啦，也没用呀）
