I am gonna have chemistry master and want to transfer to finance/business/economics area. I don't have any previous background for this. I am pretty good at math but no records can show that. does anyone have the same situation as me? can I apply for PHD in this case? anyone give some suggestion? I only have GRE. Is GMAT a MUST? thanks.

Please be honest, is it possible for me to make it? if I apply for pretty decent grad. school. ?

you can try, but top 20 seems impossible for you.

Amost everybody who applies to PhD programs has at least one Master's degree. I guess one-thired have two Master's degrees.
