请问如果ll.m转jd的时候需不需要注册LSDAS啊？如果需要的话那在中国的时候我想先把注册的事办好。免得出去了以后鞭长莫及。我看到LSAC网站外国的申请者申法学院jd可以不用注册LSDAS，这是真的吗？查了下好像要100多刀了：（谢谢大大门的指教！

My understanding is unless you graduated from certain foreign colleges, you can't file LSDAS. That was my situation.

I think you need ask specific school you want to do the program transfer. I heard there was someone who never took LSAT and went to a Tier 4 school and transferred to Top school. So no LSDAS needed in her case.

But if you are going to apply more schools and I think LSDAS is needed.

In LSAC website, if you are not applying ABA-approved schools, you don't have to register LSDAS. Otherwise, you have to.

I think you can register in the summer of the year when you submit your application.
