关于Ivey

但他们都是有focus(either marketing or finance)的.

Appears that the study experience at Ivey is really disappointing. I have read a couple of articles on this, explaining the unfair treatment received by the Chinese students there. Take care.

Well I think this guy's idea is prefect right.

Our chinese students have lots of ideas with previous experience, but we can not show the value of that in a good way. The other Canadian guys do not like out poor-speakers in teamwork. So you will feel a little bit of islanded。

So in one word, the shit one-year program is not fit for us, adding that the tuition is unbelievable high!

everywhere is the same. If you cannot communicate yourself, why bother do a MBA in English speaking environment?
Schools like HBS, Tuck will be even worse than Ivey.

american cultrue tends to be more open-minded than canadian. Discrimination of course exists in some level. But i've never found it too difficult to communicate with native speakers using my far-from-perfection english.

BTW, a lot of professors in the states dont speak english very well. i often found myself lost in their lectures before i decided to skip their classes....

everywhere is not the same, if you really want to go to ivey, just be prepared, besides i won't worry too much about guys at hbs or tuck, if they want a corporate job, all they have to do is to sign up.

Of course for anyone who wants to benefit from his/her MBA study in USA or Canada should make sure he/she can understand and get understood in English. More proficient you are in English, more confident you are in various activities. Some top MBA programs have language enhancement program for non-native speakers.
