2. Parents are the best teachers.

Teachers, despite the deference of distinct cultures, are the most honorable people in the world. They teach us nearly everything, ranging from how to write an essay to how to be a real man. And our parents, who begin to teach us since we were just a little baby, are commonly regarded as the best teachers, for their words and behaviors always have a great influence on us. However, I can not agree with this viewpoint because I hold that it is ourselves that are the best teachers.

First of all, the most significant criterion to evaluate teachers is that how well they know about their students because the better they know, the better plans they may get for students’ education. Not every method of teaching suits every student. According to our trait, a good teacher would come up with a unique plan that makes us be interested in learning so that we can gain knowledge easily and no more complaint would be heard during the process of studying. Therefore, those who know us best should be the best teachers, and who will doubt that it is ourselves that are most familiar with us? We know every corner of our mind and the best way of learning would be easily conclude. Aren’t we are the best teachers?

Furthermore, there will be one day for everyone that becomes independent, so we can not count on our parents forever. Learning is a lifelong work, and since we get involved in the society, we should just teach ourselves how to deal with troubles, how to solve problems and how to get along with fellows. No one will comment what we did, and we should judge everything by ourselves. Self-teaching is needed for everyone, and through that we can learn how to survive in the competitive society and create a brilliant life by our hand.

There’s no denying parents are still good teachers. Suggestions from parents are always welcomed and easily received, and when we are still young most of the knowledge we get is from our parents. At anytime parents will teach us what they know without consideration.
