SMU COX not even in Top 80 on USNEWS Ranking?

I couldn't find COX on USNews FT MBA Ranking (2008). Anybody knows the reason? Thanks.

各类排名有各自的依据。

个人了解：COX在Dallas地区以及整个德州，都算是挺好的MBA项目。

I did the interview today(so late!!)

and i ask why the ranking drops so significantly?

and Patti Cudney(the director) said:

cause a lot of students graduated in 2006 postposed(delayed) to search for their jobs---->2008 rank

while students graduated in 2007 back to normal --->2009 rank

so the ranking will adjust next year and actually the rank of cox is 70/ 2008

its her thought.....(connot tell if its true)

I'm a second-year full-time MBA student at Cox. I think Cox is a great school. Ranking cannot explain a lot. To my experience, Cox is making all efforts to become the first-rate MBA program. Cox has arranged some programs such as Global Leadership Program to differentiate itself from other programs. They're very successful. I just came back this year from Europe for a 2-week company visits(Goldman Sachs, PWC, Versace, Whirlpool, European Central Bank, Deutch Bank, Jones Day, Accenture, Lion Capital etc.), all expenses paid by school. Isn't it cool? Plus, Cox has a very good reputation among the big firms in Dallas area. Most of my classmates got summer interns in the 500 fortune companies. A considerable number of these companies have their HQs in Dallas. SMU is definitely a good choice for you.
