Help me crack a question

One question from <>
They said the following argument are circular, I didn't understand it, help me to analyze it. Thanks

Beethoven was the greatest composer of all time, because he wrote the greatest music of any composer, and the one who composes the greatest music must be the greatest composer.

A typical GMAT stem and correct answer are:
(\/) it assumes what it hopes to prove.

Daxia, please tell me the difference between the explanation above and below
I know it's a circular reason fallacy as some books say, but don't know what it exactly mean.

David is the tallest one in his classroom, all of his classmates are taller than Jack, so David is taller than Jack.

Thanks.

David is the tallest one in his classroom, all of his classmates are taller than Jack, so David is taller than Jack.
Thanks.

I think this reasoning is correct. Does any book regard it as fallacy?

then what's the key to crack these kinds of question? focus on the assumption , whether it's objective?or something else? sorry for my tough head

Why did you say the premise didn't exist? As the argument says"because (1)he wrote the greatest music of any composer, and(2) the one who composes the greatest music must be the greatest composer, (1) and (2) are premises. thanks.

the latter presentation "and the one who..."should be taken as a deduction from the the first sentence (the conclusion actually) and the former presentation "because he wrote the greatest music of any composer",so the author made a circular argument

I do not think it is circular, which typical reads like "Beethoven was the greatest composer of all time, because he wrote the greatest music of any composer, and because he was the greatest composer he must have composed the greatest music."

So it is like A-->B, then B-->A

This argument is correct to me: A-->B because A-->B.
