several questions about application

I had a hard time to decide who  I should ask for the recommendation letter. I have two options here.

1) My previous boss. He is VP of my company now.

2) My business partner. He had worked with me as a consultant in my company. Then he and his friend started a company and work for it part time. I started my own company part-time too. Our two companies has worked  on several projects togther for other clients.

In my essay, my short term goal is to be a project manager. My long term goal is to start and expand my own company.

Also I see there is a lot of MBA applicant service which help to fix your essay, etc. Do you think it is needed to let those service company to review the essays? Which one is better?

You should pick the one who can write about things that compliment/highlight important points in your application.

No idea.  They're expensive though and be wary of having your essay sound like anyone else's.  You still have to speak in the same manner at your interviews.  Too much professional editing will probably work against you.

how do you define fix? write for you or just teach you know to write? it's totally different. But the previous one usually is worse in terms of quality and your interview needs but maybe you need to pay more money. hehe

IF you have no idea, surely you can join some workshop and learn how to write essays. Now maybe 50% of applicants join all kinds of workshop or get their essays polished by US guys.  The essay quality is improving compared with previous years. So if you have no idea, you surely can.

Each service agency has different styles and the recruitment of workshop trainee is very tight. If you want to choose one, take action as early as possible to communicate with them and choose the one you like and trust.

Also you can join CD workshop or gather other applicants to work as application team.
