正确答案是C。

关于C和D：C中的circling存在修饰astronomers或者planets或者jupiter的歧义；D中的which circle同样存在修饰planets或者jupiter的歧义，但通过circle（动词原形）可排除修饰jupiter的可能，应该比C更为准确。为何正确答案选C？是不是D中副词词性的mostly修饰了planets的问题？

个人觉的副词和名词的并列进行比较是不准确的

C的比较对象比D明确

most of them（指向plants）

是行星对行星的比较，比较概念的对等。

circling是指向most of them的状语成分，起伴随修饰。

同意gonghao的意见，是mostly的问题。

但我认为circling是指向planets的状语成分，而不是指向most of them的状语成分。欢迎探讨。

circling的指向问题，我认为是根据逻辑意思，应该是同谓语的的一部分

most of them at least as large as Jupiter ，circling。。。。。。

句子的逻辑意思是，主句：宇航员发现了80个大行星，其中大多数都很大，且都绕着其它的恒星转

我觉的绕着其它恒星转是应该是指向那些大多数的恒星

如果根据逻辑意思来判断，circling更可能指向的是planets，而不是most of them。因为所有的planets都围绕star转（应该是planets的性质之一）。

另外，如果纠正了D中mostly的问题，

把D项改成most of them at least as large as Jupiter, which circle

C选项仍然为most of them at least as large as Jupiter, circling

大家认为哪一个选项更优呢？（也就是比较which circle与circling的优劣）
