interested in Darden

Thanks folks! I am very interested in Darden and I am preparing the applications at the moment. I have been working for 6 years now but never worked for fortune 500 corperations,but only small to medium western companies. My first GMAT score is only 680 and I am planning to take it again end of September. Do you guys think my background is not so attractive to the Admission team? Am I wasting my time by applying top 10 schools? Thanks in advance for answering my questions!

Hard to know what your background is with minimal information. There's always a chance but if you don't try then you will lose that chance.

You do not have to work in Fortune 500 MNCs to get in Darden, and a 680 of GMAT is not bad at all. You need to do more soul searching and find a school that fits you. But be sure to give a best shot no matter if it is a top 10 or magic 7.

agree- What count is the quality of your experience not how long and where you did it. Though having a big name will increase your chance but it's totally fine if you can write your story showing your qualification.

I am now in Darden without Fortune 500 companies working background and below 700GMAT.

You can find more features about yourself from small projects and you are unique. Don't worry and trust yourself.

If you need more suggestion, pls. give us details about the background.
