1.问（4的17次方－2的28次方），它的最大质因数是多少？

答案是7。

由题意可以得到这个差值的个位是8，题目给出的答案中，只有2，和7符合这个结果。我考虑到2的次方之差的数，不太可能最大的质因数是2，所以就选了7，但没有严格推理。请NN给一下推理过程，谢谢^_^。

 4^17-2^28=2^34-2^28=2^28*(2^6-1)=2^28*63=2^28*3^2*7. 很清楚，最大质因数是7。

2. A store purchased 20 coats that each cost an equal amount and then sold each of the 20 coats at a equal price. What was the store's gross profit on 20 coats?

(1.) If the selling price per coat had been twice as much, the store's gross profit on the 20 coats would have been $2,400.

(2. )If the selling price per coat had been $2 more, the store's gross profit on the 20 coats would have been $440.

答案是B。我觉得1，2两个选项都直接给出gross profit了。汗，我应该是没看懂题，请大家帮忙。

(1) 是不充分的。设进价为每件$x，售价为每件$y，题目要求20(y-x)。(1) 只说了20*(2y-x)=2400，只能求出2y-x，求不出y-x。

(2) 是充分的。(2) 的意思是20*((y+2)-x)=440，那么20*(y-x)当然就是$400了。

第2题，我还是有点不明白，黄色标出来的，我觉得是一样的。有什么区别么？

条件(1)中使用虚拟语气哦

有没有区别完全看理解gross profit的context了。题干里问的是实际状态下的总利润，而条件 (1) 或 (2)  里的总利润是假设状态下的。当然它们都被称为gross profit，因为最小范围的context里它们的意思是一样的，都是收入减去成本所得，但是根据上下文就不一样了。

换一个角度 (我猜想这是你觉得问题的所在，当然是瞎猜的，猜错就算了)，如果条件 (1) 和 (2) 里直接把题干里问的那个gross profit都说出来了，这题目未免也太没意思了。再换一个角度，个人觉得这是一个小trick。GMAT的出题人基本不会让条件 (1) 和 (2) 分别产生的答案互相矛盾，如果正确答案是D，那么条件 (1) 和 (2) 几乎肯定独立产生相同的答案。对照本题，只有将条件 (1) 和 (2) 中的gross profit理解为两个不同假设条件之下的才不会产生矛盾，否则一个$2,400，另一个$440，基本不可能。

原来应该是gross profit = (price - cost) * 20

(1)说如果price变成2*price，gross profit就变成2400

但是通过这个并不能得出原来的gross profit

所以(1)不充分
