Dear XXXXX:

Greetings from the MIT Sloan School of Management admissions team. We know you are working hard on your MBA application and want to remind you that the deadline for the Letter of Recommendations is January 12 and the application deadline is January 19.

We appreciate all of the time, effort, and sweat that you are putting into writing those essays. We are very much looking forward to finding out about you, so don't give up now!

mit的邮寄推荐信截止日比申请截止日早，这是一种提醒，如果在线提交推荐信，则和申请截止日一样。

it's a trick of B-school ,i have received many of such letters last year , but because of my lower GMAT , i was refused cruelly . but i think it is better than none of letters . good luck !

为什么说是trick呢？只是提醒大家尽早提交recommendation letter而已吧
