Which of following most logically completes the argument?

  when people engage in activites that help others, their brain releases endorphins , the brain's natural opiates, which induce in people a feeling of well-being , it has been suggested that regular release of endorphins increase people's  longevity.

  And a statistic on adults who reguraly engage in volunteer work helping others shows that they live longer, on average than adults who do not volunteer. However that statistic would be what we would expect even if volunteering does not boost longetivity , because

是为我们能预料这个结果提供一个理由，而A是为那个统计提供了一个支持。

还是不太明白 文中说我们能预料这个结果即使义务劳动不能使人长寿。。。

而a用他因解释了因为大部分的义务劳动者都是女的 而 女的本来就活的长  

而c还隐含了一个假设就是人的寿命是通过看一个人当时身体所表现出来的症状来决定的

我觉得a没什么错的

费费给我们讲的时候给的答案是A啊！ 他说因为C反对了统计数据，而统计数据是前提，所以是反对前提！ 不过说实话我也不太明白！我只是把他说的话几下来了！

太感谢tutubaobao，我也认为答案应该是A，感觉C说得有些不着边际。统计是说长寿，而C选项说掩盖了疾病，而且如3楼所说，并没有什么可以证明 掩盖疾病能够导致长寿；且如5楼所说，与统计数据无关。
