Planning free-time activities carefully or not are two totally different ideas that have caused heated debate over a long period of time. Anyway, I agree with the idea of planning free-time activities carefully. However, it is unfair to say which is better than the other if we do not see both sides of the story in the following paragraphs. Some people choose not to make any plans at all for their free time because they think they can go everywhere they like when they are free. For instance, if you have no plans in weekend, you can sleep as lately as you like. After you wake up, you can choose go out to a park or go shopping up to your emotion. Furthermore, you can just stay at home thinking or doing nothing. You don’t have to go out no matter what kind of weather it is just because you have a plan. They also argue that you can use the time to sleeping or watching TV instead of planning free-time carefully and why not live freely. However, other people stand on a very different ground, they believe that planning free-time activities carefully can make your vacation or holidays more orderly. They firmly point out planning free-time carefully can save you a lot of time. You need not waste time to do something unimportant. An example can give details to this argument: when you come out for travel, your trip will be more interesting and relaxed if you plan activities carefully. Before you depart, you can order hotel, rent car, search drive direction and destination location from internet at first. You will never feel boring when you drive because you take some CD to listen as you plan. Otherwise, if you haven’t planned, maybe you will be lost or have to pay higher fees for your hotel and car rental. In addition, you will learn how to organize your life such as study and work orderly when you plan free-time activities carefully. More knowledge will come with you because when you plan you have to study such as how to use internet, how to find the best deal. In my opinion, the advantages of planning free-time activities carefully are more than those of not because planning free-time activities carefully fits me better in two ways: First, I am a lazy girl. I will stay at home all day if I didn’t have any plan in weekend. Sometimes play game, sometimes sleep. It is not healthy. Second, I am accustomed to live by order such as making schedule for study. For example, last Thanksgiving Day, I planned to go traveling to Houston with my classmates. I planned very carefully while others not. I even made a schedule for each person, assigned everyone errand. So I became the leader during the trip. They were awed me by my knowledge because we were all new comers to United States. I will not tell them the reason that the truth is my careful planning for the trip. We had a nice trip finally. As a word, planning free-time carefully is more suited with me because I will just waste time in sleeping instead of studying or traveling.
