这道题的问题没看懂，是说"可以推断出来joe认为bill 的结论是什么"吗？interprete是认为的意思吗？D为什么不对呢？是不是JOE没有提到过private houses ，所以不能选。

是问Joe把Bill的话理解成什么了。

C正确。Joe以为Bill只认为apartment该装smoke detectors，所以他才说private houses也同样重要。
