Job Title: Research fellow/Research assistant (Applied research track)

Location: Shenzhen

Report to: Director & Assistant director of the Institute

Department: CEIBS Institute of Supply Chain Innovations

Work Type: Full-time

Job responsibilities mainly include but not limited to the following:

•   Support application-oriented research activities of the Institute, such as business information searching and collating, case writing, industry report writing, practitioner-oriented book writing, etc.

•   Support teaching activities of the director of the Institute, such as creating pre-reading materials, PPT, etc.

•   Support operation activities of the Institute, such as writing practitioner-oriented articles for the Institute’s website and WeChat public account, writing promotional materials for industry events (e.g., industry forum, company visiting, industrial and academic exchange activities) organized by the Institute

•   Other supportiveactivities if in need

•   Strong interest in applied research and industry-academia collaboration

•   PHD/MSC degree in business administration fields (for Research fellow/Researchassistant), operations management/supply chain management related education backgrounds are preferred

•   Proven abilities in professional writing (in certain forms of outputs listed in “Job responsibilities”)

•   Ability to understand both academic research paper and business practice articles without barriers and be able to “bridge” them to create insights

•   Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both academics and industry professionals

•   Able to commit for atleast 1 year.
