If a and b are positive integers, what is the value of the product ab?

(1) The least common multiple of a and b is 48.

(2) The greatest common factor of a and b is 4.

AStatement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
BStatement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
CBOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
DEACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
EStatements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.
想问一下各位大神这道题怎么个思路？

有个公式，ab乘积等于ab的最大公约数乘上最小公倍数。
