In 1990, there were fewer days with light rainfall than in 1910 and fewer with moderate rainfall, yet total rainfall for the year was 20 percent higher in 1990 than in 1910.

结论是雨量1990年大于1910年，a选项是下雨的天数1990小于1991。这个是有可能的，如果说91年虽然下heavy rainfall的天数多，但是可能每天就下刚刚more than two inches，90年下heavy rainfall的时候，都是特大暴雨，远远超过two inches

这道题问的是possible，你只要check每个选项是否可能实现就可以了。
每个雨量分类是有区间的，HR是没有上限的，所以可能性是会存在的，A放着。

B，no more than two inches,包括MR跟LR两类，题干告诉你了90年这两类的天数都比10年少，所以不可能相等
C同B
D，90年MR的雨量是10年的两倍。90年MR的天数比10年少，MR的范围是1-2，就算90年每次都是2,10年每次都是1,只要90年比10年少一天，就不行啦。所以不可能。
E，90年雨量是10年雨量的1.2倍，就算分配到了12个月，每个月的雨量也都比10年多。所以不可能。

A，是可能的，因为Heavy rainfall大于2inch，没有上限，可能是1910年heavy rainfall的日子多，每天下个5inch。1910年Heavy rainfall日子少，每天干个20inch，最后总量上还是1990年高
