求助CR一道题,好像也搜不到来着

The traditional treatment of strep infections has been a seven-day course of antibiotics, either penicillin or erythromycin. However, since many patients stop taking those drugs within three days, reinfection is common in cases where those drugs are prescribed. A new antibiotic requires only a three-day course of treatment. Therefore, reinfection will probably be less common in cases where the new antibiotic is prescribed than in cases where either penicillin or erythromycin is prescribed.

Which of the following, if true, most strengthens the argument?

A. Some of the people who are allergic to penicillin are likely to be allergic to the new antibiotic.

我觉得C不对诶,
A: 不相关
B:费用问题。题目中没有提到任何关于费用的信息,而且前提已经提到新的治疗药物的使用会降低再次感染strep的概率,那么默认费用不是一个问题
C.如果new antibiotic和penicillin or erythromycin是一样的功效,但是同时可以治疗其余的感染,那为什么就会降低再次感染strep infections呢?那应该是一样啊
D.有些医生已经开始尝试新的治疗药物了,不相关,已经使用就一定有效吗?不一定
E.不管服用新药还是旧药,病人服用完第三天就完全好了。这个是服用旧药的病人只服用三天的原因,但是旧药有可能还要服用四天巩固一下,而新药的规定服用方法就是三天,药效有可能强一些,不需要额外的巩固来防止再次感染。
对比E更合适,但是其实这个逻辑链自己也认为不是很sound。求大神出来指点迷津~~~

这道题应该是focus on 3-day 这个点上面吧,就是说三天就好了,但是旧药可能复发(如果没有后面四天巩固的话),但是新药就是三天,所以说E是加强了结论

原文找加強。

P1 - 舊的抗生素要七天療程, 然而, 很多的病人三天後就停止服用此藥, 所以疾病的復發是非常常見的

P2 - 新的抗生素只需要三天就可以完成療程。

C - 服用新的抗生素的疾病復發率會小於服用舊的抗生素的疾病復發率

來, 我們來找邏輯點

1. many patients stop taking old antibiotics within 3 days will be reinfected, 那就代表, at least 1 of the patients will " not " be infected

2. require only 3 days course of treatment - then we must assume that at least one of the patients taking the new med will " not be infected "

所以, 缺口在哪? 作者的必要假設在於服用新藥三天的病人必定至少有一位是康復的

A. 過不過敏對於復發率毫無相關

B. 價錢多寡對於復發率毫無相關

C. 新藥可以治癒其他疾病不代表新藥治癒strep此疾病的比例會大於舊藥治癒strep

( 作者比較的不是功能的多寡, 而是某一功能的效率程度)

D. 有一些病人已經開始服用新藥不代表新藥的確比舊藥有用

E. 不管是新藥還是舊藥, 多數的病人三天後都會完全的康復 - 此為正確答案, 至少有一個可以有全部的概念, 而如果服用新藥三天的病人有多數是康復的, 那就代表, “ 至少有一位服用新藥可以康復的病人”的必要假設可以成立。

feel fully recovered——just what patients feel,maybe some haven’t recovered but stop【原文说 However, since many patients stop taking those drugs within three days,】这种情况就会 reinfection,if traditional drugs need 7days, though3days patients feel recovered.

and 原文【 A new antibiotic requires only a three-day course of treatment. 】保证三天就好。

reinfection will probably be less common--use new drugs--减少了可以避免出现的reinfection--用三天确定治愈,而非三天使得有好转却让病人停药的traditional drug
