og上对d的解释是 If anything, this competition probably made Autoco's previous design process cheaper. It does not suggest that the new design process, which may involve less competition, will be faster or cheaper than the previous one.

题目中的逻辑是使用supplier可以做到1.reduce time 2.reduce cost
D选项－supplier竞争可以reduce cost，但time无法告知是否reduce，不完整
E选项－因为很多supplier都有提供给新车的配件，所以不需要再额外生产，所以既reduce time也reduce cost

挺有意思的一道题。D不对是因为这句话只是在描述Supplier在与Autoco公司签约之前的竞争过程，与后来论点中说的Autoco与Supplier合作后可以省钱，没有一毛钱关系。因为即使签约前配件样品做得好，不等于会整体省钱。

相对来说E就强调了Supplier的经验，是可以支持论点的一个选项。
