我个人觉得选E，最后一句话是观点（assessment），用来支持prediction（Consequently, it is likely that a newly developed adhesive will become the routine method of holding most types of cuts closed.）：因为更经济，所以新的adhesive会成为常规。可是答案给的是D？？不理解，求教~~先跪谢各位大神啦
