请教语法题，谢谢！

一道改错题：It is the interaction between people, rather than the events that occur in their lives that are the main focus of social psychology.   正确答案是把are改成is,但是这个句子我怎么看都很别扭，谁能帮我分析一下句子结构呢？谢谢！

句子结构：it is A rather than B that is ....


that occur in their lives定语从句用来修饰events


最后那个is，主语要看interaction

很简单，把rather than the events that occur in their lives看做插入语删掉，句型结构就清晰了。

其实是个强调句式：It is the interaction between people that is the main focus of social psychology.明白了吗？

Concur.


It is a long sentence so it is a little hard to find the skelecton.
