Whether a new movie theater is built in our neighborhood or not? Different dwellers of different backgrounds have different answers. Those who argue against this option say this idea is detrimental to our serene life. Conversely, those who advocate this option say building a movie theater is instrumental to every aspect of our neighborhood. As far as I am concerned, I prefer the latter. In this article, I will elaborate my point view as follows.

The first plain truth, I am rendering, is that building a new theater is beneficial to our job market. As we all know, nowadays, due to few vacancies, the vast majority of young residents have to await our predecessors to retire and supersede them. As a result, we crave for getting some investment; coincidently, there is a plan of building a movie theater here. If the theater could be built here, it will offer a wide assortment of chances to our dwellers; we may sell tickets, manage, serve as ushers and run convenience stores. Consequently, a movie theater will resolve away the question of jobs.

Furthermore, behind my preference lies an equally important fact that building a new theater is conducive to the economy of our neighborhood. There have been not any changes for years, so our local economy has been declining; some residents had to migrate to other areas for better living. However if we could build a theater in our neighborhood, the theater will not only provide entertainment places for us,  but also prompt other businesses near it, such as restaurants, shops and real estate. Therefore building a new theater will inspire our local economic development.

Last but not least, building a new theater is also in favor of other aspects of our neighborhood. On the one hand, it can supply more diversions for us, especially our children who can have places to have a good time after class. On the other hand, our government could get more capital to invest in other sectors, such as education, real estate, transports and so forth; these good measures could attract more investments and people here and a benign circle would be produced.   Undoubtedly, our neighborhood would increasingly become agreeable.

To sum up, despite some minor drawbacks such as a little impact on our serene life, building a new theater, compared to not building, has overwhelming advantages as suggested above. Accordingly, we should build a movie theater as soon as possible.
