Applications are reviewed in rounds. We encourage candidates who have submitted their online application to log into OPUS to verify materials received and to check their application status. The Admissions Office cannot accommodate requests to verify materials received over the phone.

* Preferred deadline for One-Year MBA applicants, international applicants, and applicants interested in consideration for top named scholarships

** Final deadline for general merit-based scholarships

ADMISSION DECISION

The Admissions Committee reserves the right to limit the size of the entering class, and all decisions are final.

Admitted Applicants: To reserve a place in the class, admitted applicants must submit a $2,000 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to the first semester's tuition. Official transcripts are due with the deposit.
Waitlisted Applicants: If waitlisted, we encourage students to submit the waitlist form and request feedback on their application.
Denied Applicants: Applicants who are denied may re-apply within 1 year.

ESSAYS

Please address the following questions and submit all essays in one complete PDF file. Essays should be written in 12-point font and double-spaced. On the top of each page, indicate your full name as listed on your application and the question to which you are responding. The application system requires that you convert your document into PDF format prior to uploading it to your application. Instructions and access to a software program that will convert your documents are available within the application.

2015-16 FULL-TIME MBA APPLICANT ESSAYS

Answer all essays, following the directions indicated in the questions. NOTE: Applicants who apply to more than one MBA program will only complete the essay question requirement related to their first-program preference.

Define your short-term post-MBA career goals. How are your professional strengths, past experience and personal attributes aligned with these goals? (300 word limit)
The business school is named for Roberto C. Goizueta, former Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, who led the organization for 16 years, extending its global reach, quadrupling consumption, building brand responsibility, and creating unprecedented shareholder wealth. Mr. Goizueta's core values guide us in educating Principled Leaders for Global Enterprise. Provide an example of your leadership - professional or personal - and explain what you learned about yourself through the experience. (300 word limit)
Complete one of the following statements. (250 word limit)
- I am passionate about...
- The best piece of advice I've received is...
- The best day of my life was...
- A personal goal I want to accomplish is...
Share with the committee and your future classmates a fun or noteworthy fact about you. (25 word limit)

Optional Essay: If you have additional information or feel there are extenuating circumstances which you would like to share with the MBA Admissions Committee (i.e. unexplained gaps in work experience, choice of recommenders, academic performance issues or areas of weakness in application). Please limit your response to 250 words.

Please note, if you are applying for a Center Fellowship through one of our Centers (Center for Alternative Investments, the Marketing Analytics Center or Social Enterprise @ Goizueta) an additional essay is required. Please visit the Center Fellowships page for more details on the fellowships and the application process.

RE-APPLICANT ESSAYS

Applicants who have applied to Goizueta Business School in the past are required to answer the following questions:

Define your short-term post-MBA career goals. How are your professional strengths, past experience and personal attributes aligned with these goals? (300 word limit)
Explain how you have improved your candidacy for Goizueta Business School's MBA Program since your last application. (250 word limit)

Joe, 对第一道问题我有点疑惑，似乎我们需要写的就是根据自己的背景、过往经历阐述未来短期目标，那么Why School, Why now不用写了么？当然300字篇幅很短，看起来的确也包括不了那么多信息

这个就是up to you的问题啦 Essay本来就是free form，所以写不写，写什么，完全是你来安排的。你觉得对你的申请有帮助就可以写。

多谢Joe，另外对第三题的4选1也想听听你的意见，这个问题特别open，我觉得针对我们的personal life有很多值得发挥的地方，但是是否需要和我们的career path或者professional goal契合起来呢？我想了半天觉得如果靠着professional方向去写可能会很boring，但如果写的很personal可能就跑偏了，真太纠结了。。。

取决于整体package 如果你的resume很不错，其他的essay也谢了足够多的工作的事情，最后一篇写点个人是挺好的一个选择
