Nowadays, some people may hold the idea that daily homework is very necessary for students, while others have the negative attitude. As far as I am concern, I should say I am one of the strong proponents of the former. My arguments for this point are elaborated and listed as follows.

First and foremost, I agree with the statement that teachers should assign homework to students every day because it is a pretty efficient way to help students to review what they have learned. Since we always accept the new information in the daily classes and most of us are not the talents who can remember everything only after learning once, the optimal way for us to grasp knowledge is to go over the textbooks through the assignments. Meanwhile, only from the homework can compel us to think more about the subjects and even find some new questions.

A further reason is that, as time going, it is also possible for some of us to form such good habits spontaneously. Take myself as an instance, when I was a primary school student, I did dislike writing essays as a daily or weekly assignment like most other classmates. But as the teacher requested, I have no other choice except doing it even though it is unwilling for me. About a couple of years later, it is even unbelievable for me to have such an amazing sense that I was accustomed to write a diary and enjoyed it from then on.

In addition, if we complete a project with some other classmates, we can not only enhance our teamwork spirit but also promote the friendship and communication among all of us. Admittedly, sometimes we can hear that a great deal of homework would add the burden to students. However, most students are benefiting from the moderate assignment.

To sum up, taking into account of all these factors presented above, it is not difficult for us to reach the conclusion that daily homework is considerably necessary for students. I was convinced by its effects and advantages, and recommend this standpoint of view to people valuing it.
