No senator spoke at the convention unless he or she was a Democrat.No Democrat both spoke at the convention and was a senator.

A. No one but senator spoke at the convention.
B. No Democrat spoke at the convention.
C. Only Democrats spoke at the convention.
D. No senator spoke at the convention.
E. Some Democrat senator spoke at the convention.

我才入门，对于关系把握很差，这个题差不多把我弄得头昏了。希望前辈指点，THANKS

前半句说，只有民主党参议发言，后半句说，民主党发言的一定不是参议，所以结论是只有民主党员发言

可是砖头上给的答案是D啊。

它说， SENATOR 演讲------必为DEMOCRAT-------不能二者兼得。

我不理解这个二者兼得是什么。难道如果又是SENATOR又演讲，那他肯定不是DEMOCRAT？如果这么理解就和第一句矛盾，因为我觉的第一句的意思是，如果SENATOR演讲他就是一个DEMOCRAT。

conclusion senator speak-->no convention

我疏忽了，因前半句是说如果有参议员发言的话，他只能是民主党的，后半句是否定了民主党参议员发言的可能性，我认为是只有民主党员发言，是忽略了题目给出的只是必要而非充分条件，所以民主党员发言的只是可能不是必然的结论。
