University-wise, Chicago is certainly stronger in terms of academic reputation than Northwestern Univerity, but in terms of MBA ranking, Kellogg has been on the edge recently. If you are fond of people's opinion about the two schools, I suggest you to go the head2head yahoo group, where you will find almost all the comparative data between any two-school combination. But from a rational perspective, I think the choice between the two school depends much more on your career choice. Chicago is much more analytical and finance-oriented, while Kellogg is famous for marketing and general management. Carefully think about your personal skill sets and ask yourself what kind of career are you pursuing. I hope you can better settle that issue down before embarking on your MBA study. When you arrive at the school with your career direction in ambiguity, you will find yourself confused among the hundreds of corporate presentations. Without a clear career goal, you will be troubled by the daily dilemma about which presentation to join. |
