FEIFEI-63 选项B

请教费费63
63. Some good cooks are gourmet cooks who pride themselves on always using extravagantly rich ingredients in elaborate recipes. Some good cooks can be characterized as fast-food cooks. They may use rich ingredients as long as the recipes are easy to follow and take little time. Other good cooks are health food enthusiasts, who are concerned primarily with the nutritional value of food. But even though not all good cooks are big eaters, they all enjoy preparing and serving food.

If the information in the passage is true, which one of the following CANNOT be true?

A.        Most good cooks do not use extravagantly rich ingredients.

B.        Everyone who enjoys preparing and serving food is a good cook.

C.        More good cooks who use extravagantly rich ingredients are big eaters than are good cooks who do not use such ingredients.

D.       There are fewer good cooks who enjoy serving and preparing food than there are good cooks who are big eaters.

E.        Gourmet cooks, fast-food cooks, and cooks who are health food enthusiasts are all big eaters.
请问B选项是属于 CAN BE TURE (可以对 也可能不对)还是MUST BE TRUE(一定对)?

I think choice B is a maybe.
The text says: all good cooks enjoy preparing and serving food.
Choice B is the other way round: All those enjoying preparing and serving food are good cooks.

B is a could be true.

Maybe no one enjoys preparing and serving food other than good cooks. In this
case, all good cooks and only good cooks enjoy preparing and serving food.No premises are violated.

As demonstrated above, there exists a scenario that doesn’t
violate the premises provided in the stimulus, in which B is true.

A cannot be true answer is the one that cannot be given the restrictions of stimulus.

The answer to this question is D, the mistake is: all<not all.

Because the question stem has ennuciated the word "CANNOT" which means logically impossible, the answer must be B.

Although A=>B simply does not prevent B=>A from happening, but if the latter does happen, it will equate A to B. Here in this case, the second choice says "enjoying serving and preparing food=>being a cook" while the passage only provides "being a cook=>enjoying serving and preparing food", and the two simply cannot equate.
