Cant type Chinese in this computer......
your academic qualification per se meet requirement for all the business schools in Canada. Your GPA 3.4 at a 211 university is more than enough to apply any business program in Canada. and GMAT 620 is slightly lower than average score of most of business schools. but GMAT is not only measurement. I know many people have GMAT 550 got into Rotman MBA, and GMAT 560 into Queens MBA and Ivey also said that they also choose candidates at 500 ranges. however, some schools, such as UBC, MMPA at University of Toronto, have minimum requirement in each GMAT section. UBC require minimum of 50% in both Q and V, and MMPA require minimum of 46% in both Q and V. Typically, your 600 above GMAT score with your fine GPA from 211 university in china will absolutely favorable
Professional background: normally they require at least 2 years work experience, but many schools (Non-Triple crown) also hire fresh undergraduate. furthermore, Canadians (both school and company) value Canadian working experience more than any other work experience, unless you either worked in US, or worked at top multinational companies. (I.e. fortune 50-100 and Investment banking)
Furthermore, Your essay and interview are very important too.
I dont know your professional background, so i cant tell you what program may best for you. and you have to make decision based on your future career development, and intention of studying Masters in Canada. otherwise, you will waste your money. If you want to emphasis your global work experience, European and US schools are good targets, and you have chance to get into top MBAs.
i.e. if you want to immigrate to canada, you dont have to spend much money in expensive programs. there are many business schools are not ranked but have very good reputation in canada, such as laurier MBA and Ted Rogers. Many CEOs are alumni of these schools. most importantly, Cheap 
if you want to earn a degree at top ranked business school, you are looking at wrong place. the highest ranking of canadian business school in FT is Rotman (Around 45-50)
if you want to earn a degree and get couple of years of canadian experience, you have to make sure that you speak and write English very well. the top reason that Chinese student / foreigners cant find a job is because of poor English.
regardless, if you truly decided to study in Canada, I encourage you to apply for top tier MBAs. If you don't try, You would never know. trust me  |
