Best wishes from a twenty something girl! In my opinion, you totally have right to pursue your dream. You are doing this not just for yourself but also your daughter. You not only provide a better economic support for her (you definitely can get a better job after MBA) but also set a model for her, be independent, confident and positive. I don't know why man in Asia always think that it is woman's job to take care of kids and doing house work, as a matter of fact, the responsibilities should be shared equally. And studying MBA is not a "man" stuff, every year women occupy 50% of MBA freshman. And several of them have kids just like you. Fortunately, you have supportive parents. There is nothing to worried about, I believe your parents will take good care of her. Just go for it, you are 32, it's now or never. If you succeed, you are not just the role model for your daughter but also girls in my age who will face the same dilemma in the near future. The process of applying MBA is extremely exhausted, but keep faith and be positive. In the end the hard work will return. Good Luck |
