Hi there, my friend.
Let me begin by saying that you have a very impressive background. You have an amazing GPA and much valuable academic experience. Based on your current situation, I’d recommend that you take the internship to earn more real-world experience. An MFE is more of a math degree. Taking an actuarial role will not only give you a chance to make a difference with your current skillset, but it will also help you gain more experience in math. I’d also suggest that you take some programming classes in your school, especially C++ or Java. These classes will make you an even more competitive applicant. Ultimately, you need to focus on researching different schools so you can create a good list of where to apply. I have full confidence in your ability to gain admission to top tier schools. That being said, you must make sure you present the best version of yourself in the application, and the essays are crucial for doing this. Hope this helps!
