[求助]关于电话面试－我一直不明白的问题

关于电话面试， 我有个问题不大明白。

学校一般会提前多久通知申请人要面试呢？ 我指的是by invitation 的那种。

会不会大白天的打电话到公司或者手机上面呢？我看《逐梦》上面好像有人就是上班的时候跑到楼道里面做面试。 那样不是很尴尬而且比较危险？ 我推荐信是请以前的公司领导出的。

一般不会在上班的时候打吧

北美和我们时差１２小时，我们上班的时间人家肯定是不上班的

You will be invited to choose the date. My CMU R3 interview's date was selected by me. Friday Night is a good choice for both sides.

you should be given the option to choose your prefered time slot, usually from a few choices. for example, they may give you 2pm on Jan1 or 3PM on Jan 5, etc. So even if you have to be called during work, you will still know it ahead of time so you can (and should) make some arrangement, say get an empty office to answer the call, or get a few hours off work during that time.

That said, the 12-hour time difference will very likely make the interview happen at night in China. To the admission folks, they do this every year, so it's just a job and I doubt they will be using their own time to do interviews unless they have to
