meaning: prediction本不会做A,如果prediction不是因为B的话,(B应该要是C这样)。
anyway, had it not been for C = if it had not been for C
in conditionals, 1) if you see the situation as unreal, use the simple past tense in the conditional clause: e.g. if I were you, I would study really hard to get an excellent GMAT score.
2)if you want to talk about a conditional situation in the past, use had in the conditional clause: e.g. if I had studied really hard, I would have got an excellent GMAT score of above 700. (or had I studied ...) |
