首先这题的答案是Ｂ没有什么问题。　但是我在看着道题时，觉得这题中ＣＤ选项里的ＴＨＥＹ和ＴＨＥＩＲ似乎都有指代　ｙｅｌｌｏｗ　ｊａｃｋｅｔｓ的嫌疑。但是ＯＧ里并没有指出它有错误。　我个人觉得C D 选项中的指代不同于A ， A选项中的THEY 很清楚的指代了 waspS是因为它指代的是中心词。ＣＤ中的作为一个代词，在从句主语的位置上，难道不应该优先指代　ＹＥＬＬＯＷ　ＪＡＣＫＥＴＳ？　

　是我概念错误了，还是ＯＧ并没有解释完所有的错误情况　　　希望来一个NN 求解答

your analysis seems fine to me

they in choice A seems to refer to yellow jackets ( both are the subjects in the clause, and grammatical case is equal)

but when encountering such problem in the exam

if I were you, I will not tackle with the pronoun ambiguity issue until other splits are all addressed

you know that the OG's explanation is quite inconsistent in this issue (just like some sorts of controversy)

if you are immersed in such kind of controversial analysis, you will be ruined in the problem ( because the GMAT set the rule, they have the authority to do anything no matter how well your reasoning may turn out to be )

more time should be devoted into the overall meaning ( that is the trend)

you will get nerve-racking for consistently analyzing pronoun ambiguity

选项Ａ中的ｔｈｅｙ　指代ＷＡＳＰＳ很清楚没问题滴　　这个也是ＯＧ的原话　ＴＨＥＹ　ＲＥＦＥＲＲＩＮＧ　ＴＯ　WASPS因为，ＷＡＳＰＳ　ｌｉｖｉｎｇ。。。。这个整个短语都是用来解释ｓｏｃｉａｌ　ｗａｓｐＳ的。这个短语中的ｔｈｅｙ　当然指代该短语的中心词　WASPS。。我只是觉得BC的指代也有问题ＯＧ没说

and that is the precise reason why I recommend you not to study this issue too far
the return on investment is quite pale

the OG's explanations in A:

I think that it would say that because wasps are much closer to they, so they should refer to wasps (that is the closer rule)

but what I articulates above is the grammar case rule to determine the potential antecedent for they

both rules should make sense

the prioritized issue in CD is which
