When it comes to the issue as to whether a large factory should be set up in our community, a great number of people will be against the project in that the factory will bring potential environmental pollution. As far as I am concerned, I hold the company should build the factory and I would like provide sufficient evidence to support my viewpoint.

First and foremost, building a factory has a positive impact on job opportunities for our community. On the one hand, residents who are not employed currently have much more chances to be hired by this new factory again. On the other hand, many university students can have practical opportunities in this factory, so that they can not only develop their academic skills but also earn money to cover their tuition. Both of these vividly present that a factory contributes to increase job opportunities.

Another reason of my view is that setting up a factory has a close relationship with the development of the other fields. Compared to the present condition without a factory, in which people are forced to go shopping out of the community due to the lack of the commercial cohesion, the future community will teem with such economic buildings as supermarkets, shopping malls and cinemas, thus significantly making people feel convenient. Obviously, building a factory is a desirable choice to our community.

It should be committed that a factory probably gives rise to environment damage concerned with noise and gas emission. However, considering the overwhelming advantages of building a factory, the side effects are not worth mentioning. On the contrary, profits created by the factory will be handed in to the local government. At the same time, the government instead invests on the development of the community which will afford better services for people.

In conclusion, based on the three reasons above, developing a factory can provide lots of advantages. As a result, I agree the project that a factory will be built.
