DescriptionI am recruiting a PhD graduate student to study stress signaling and its integration with processes such as ageing, growth, development, and reproduction. My lab uses the model organism Canorhabditis elegans to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying these processes. We use a diverse set of research tools including genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, functional genomics, and bioinformatics.
Candidates would need to be admitted to the Department of Biology at the University of Florida. At a minimum, the successful applicant would be given a teaching assistantship that includes a tuition waiver, stipend, and health insurance for up to 6 years. Research assistantships and summer stipends depend on funding availability and the specific project.
More information on my lab is available at: http://choelab.weebly.com/ Information on our graduate program is available at: http://www.biology.ufl.edu/Graduate/Default.aspx To applyContact Keith Choe (kchoe@ufl.edu) for more details. |
